Ham slices with Potatoes
Ingredients
- 5 slices of ham or Canadian bacon
- 2 medium-sized potatoes
- 2 tbsp olive oil (for potatoes)
- 1 tbsp butter or oil (for egg and ham)
- 1 spoon Salt and pepper
- 1 large egg
- Optional: garlic powder, paprika, or herbs for seasoning the potatoes
Instructions
- slices are patted dry Ham with a paper towel to avoid excess moisture during cooking.
- Heat the pan. Once the pan is hot, lay the ham slices flat in a single layer, making sure they don’t overlap.
- two medium-sized potatoes and cutting them into evenly sized cubes — roughly half an inch each side.
- Next, toss the dried potatoes in a bowl with olive oil, salt, and pepper. For added flavor, you may sprinkle in a touch of paprika or garlic powder. Heat a generous amount of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
